  3. Delivering great food, whatever the weather

    Our dedicated drivers have been battling the unseasonable weather conditions all over the country to get your Oakhouse meals and desserts out to you this week.  We’ve seen heavy snow in lots of places, from Croydon to East Anglia, and drivers like Rob from our North West branch have been facing motorways at a standstill and difficult driving conditions. Despite the disruption, our drivers are working hard to get to everyone and to make sure that most of our deliveries are made as close to our usual times as possible. If we’re running behind with deliveries we’ll do our best to keep everyone informed about what is happening.   6. Supporting MacMillan Cancer

    Oakhouse Foods in Scotland has donated £556 to MacMillan Cancer Support, money raised from the 5p plastic bag charge. The branch also donated over £1,220 last year from the charge. Branch manager Lesley Shaw made the donation after MacMillan Cancer Support was nominated by our regular customers in the area. She said, “We wanted to do so

  10. 2017 Extra Mile Award Winner!

    We know that a friendly face can make all the difference and our experienced drivers often deliver so much more than meals - many also give their time and support whenever it’s needed and it’s wonderful to hear your positive stories about these unsung heroes. In September, we launched this year’s Extra Mile Award. Our annual award recognises the dedication of many of our delivery drivers who go above and beyond the call of duty. We have received hundreds of nominations for our hardworking drivers across the country. We really loved hearing all the positive comments about our drivers. The Winner! From previous years’ awards, the standard has been set very high. However, there was one clear winner in 2017 who stood out from the crowd. That was Rob Finnigan, from the Kent region, who has proved himself to be one of our most hardworking and popular drivers.
