We understand the importance of peace of mind and trust when it comes to delivering our food to those in your care. At Oakhouse we are proud of the care and support all our drivers offer on a daily basis, whether they are having a friendly chat with an isolated customer or helping out in more practical ways.
Complete peace of mind
We only recruit experienced drivers who know the local area well, and each one undergoes a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check before joining us. We also do our best to make sure our customers see the same driver every time we deliver so they become a familiar face. We get to know our customers as individuals and we'll do all we can to support each one - so you can rest assured they are in good hands.
A personalised approach
Our drivers understand that some of our customers may have specific health or mobility needs, and may need more support than others. From putting food away in the freezer, to taking the time to talk to the customer about how they are, they’re always happy to give a helping hand.
Our drivers go the extra mile to ensure the happiness of our customers, here's what our customers think of their driver:
"Many thanks for sorting my order out and for the next day delivery, it is very much appreciated. If the food is half as good as the staff and service then we are onto a winner!"
"I chose Oakhouse to delivery my food, I was a little nervous but it was one of the best decisions I ever made, my driver Steve is a perfect Gentleman, he puts my food in the fridge neatly"
"With winter approaching its good to know that I can look forward to my delivery from Ryan of Oakhouse, always on time and he shuts the gate on the way out so my dogs don't run in the road"
Kathleen (and the Doggies), Bedfordshire
"Lorna always puts my food straight in the freezer, she even showed me how to use my new microwave oven having never had one before"
Mrs Somers, Aberdeenshire
"Steve kindly leaves my meals in a cool box in my porch but when I forgot to leave the door open, he kindly asked a neighbour to take the meals in for me, he's very willing to help"
Mrs Coombe, Hampshire
"I look foward to Eddie bringing me a delicious selection of foods. He is so cheerful and has a lovely disposition, nothing is too much trouble. He is a ray of sunshine on a wet day!"
"Haley is so reliable, even in heavy rain and gusting wind she battles her way through it all and still has a beaming smile and pleasant words for me"
