Our drivers are the face of Oakhouse Foods. They’re a key part of your experience when you order from us, and do so much more than deliver meals to your door. If your driver has stayed to chat, helped unpack or even come to the rescue, we want to hear about it. We’re launching our Extra Mile Award 2018, where we recognise exceptional Oakhouse drivers. For this annual award, we’re asking you to nominate one of our lovely drivers who has gone above and beyond for you. There are three ways you can nominate someone. Simply click here to fill in the short form. Or if you’d like to do it later, we’ll be promoting the Extra Mile Award throughout August – so just look out for details in our upcoming emails. Alternatively, you can find a slip on the back of your delivery note which you can fill out and post back to us. We love it when customers get in touch to sing our drivers’ praises. We’ve received messages from people whose drivers have helped them out in a number of ways. From simply arranging meals and groceries in the fridge, freezer and cupboards. To going out of their way to help customers who have been injured. Another key part of our delivery service is that we try to make sure you always get the same driver, who’ll deliver to you at the same time whenever you order – that way you can get to know them and look forward to seeing a friendly face. After receiving all this great feedback from happy customers, we wanted to recognise and reward our drivers for their fantastic efforts. That’s where the Extra Mile Award comes in. The driver with the most nominations will win a £100 voucher of their choice – if there’s a tie, the winner will be picked at random.
