Sweet & Sour Chicken

Cooked chicken breast pieces in a sweet and sour sauce with onion, red peppers and pineapple, served with egg fried rice with red and green peppers.

Cooking Instructions

Microwave 700W 900W
Remove sleeve and pierce film lid.
Heat on FULL POWER for: 5 mins 4 mins
Peel back film lid, add 2 tablespoons of water to rice and stir both compartments. Re-cover and heat on full power for a further: 4 mins 4 mins
Leave to stand in the microwave for: 1 min 1min
Remove film lid and serve.
Pre-heat oven to 200ºC/400ºF, Gas Mark 6.
Remove sleeve, pierce film lid, place on baking tray.
Cook in the centre of the oven for 20 minutes (fan ovens may vary).
Peel back film, add 2 tablespoons of water to rice, stir both compartments and re-cover. Continue heating for a further 15-20 minutes.
Leave to stand for 1 minute. Remove film, stir well and serve.
